Compatibility: LED strips, push buttons and wireless switches with Camper Jarvis

Updated 16 October 2026Lighty

Which LED strips fit, which wall push buttons and wireless push buttons can I use? This page shows what already works with Camper Jarvis today and what we are working on right now. The list keeps growing, because we are constantly adding new devices.

As of October 2026

How to read the list

  • Supported: works today, you can use it straight away.
  • Beta: already works, but we are still testing and extending it.
  • In progress: the integration is being developed and cannot be used yet.

LED strips and lights

With LED strips, the manufacturer does not matter, the type of strip does. What counts is how many colour channels it has. Lighty has 5 channels, works with 12V and 24V and detects the voltage by itself. Several strips may share one channel, as long as Lighty does not have to deliver more than 20A in total. We recommend COB strips, because they give an even band of light without visible dots.

Manufacturer Model/series Status Via What works
All manufacturers Single-colour LED strips, dimmable Supported Lighty, 1 channel Switch and dim finely
All manufacturers CCT or tunable white (warm white and cool white, WW and CW) Supported Lighty, 2 channels Colour temperature from warm to cool, dimming
All manufacturers RGB strips Supported Lighty, 3 channels Colour and brightness
All manufacturers RGBW strips Supported Lighty, 4 channels Colour plus white, dimming, scenes
All manufacturers RGBWW strips Supported Lighty, 5 channels Colour plus warm white and cool white, dimming, scenes
All manufacturers Single-colour lights, spots and LED bars up to 5A per output Supported Ampy Switch and dim
All manufacturers Lights that are only switched on and off Supported Switchy On and off

Addressable pixel strips such as WS2812 or SK6812, where every LED is controlled individually, do not work with Lighty. Lighty is deliberately not built for them. What the abbreviations on the strip packaging mean is explained in RGB, WW, CW: what the abbreviations mean.

Wired wall push buttons and switches

Wired push buttons and switches are connected to Lighty or Ampy. Switchy has no inputs for push buttons.

Manufacturer Model/series Status Via What works
All manufacturers Push buttons: single pole, normally open, without a latching position. Multi-gang push buttons with a common connection too Supported Lighty (1 input, 5 inputs with Lighty Extension) and Ampy (one input per output) A short press switches, press and hold dims, a double tap switches all lights. Any number of push buttons in parallel per channel
All manufacturers Latching switches Supported Lighty (directly on the input, without Lighty Extension) and Ampy On and off, no dimming
Inprojal Push buttons and series push buttons from System 10.000 and 20.000, 4-gang push button 30420 Supported Ampy and Lighty As above. How to connect them: Connecting Inprojal push buttons to Ampy

The brand and design of your push buttons are up to you, we do not sell any ourselves. Important: only push buttons go on Lighty Extension. A switch stays closed after you flip it and blocks the detection of the other push buttons. How to switch one light from two places without two-way wiring is explained in Switching one light in the camper from two places.

Wireless push buttons without cables

Manufacturer Model/series Status Via What works
Häfele Häfele Connect Mesh 4-way wall push button (item no. 850.00.141) Supported Lighty from firmware 0.4.7 as the receiver, SmartKnob required A short press switches, a long press dims. Each button can be assigned to any device, for example the water pump, the inverter or a Switchy channel
Shelly 4-way push buttons In progress Lighty The integration is being developed

The wireless push buttons need the SmartKnob, also during normal operation. How to pair them is shown in Wireless push buttons without cables: adding Häfele Connect Mesh.

No guarantee is given for this information. The range of functions may differ depending on device, firmware and wiring.
