How to update without internet
- Download the file for your device here.
- In the van, open the dashboard and go to Connections, Modules.
- Drag and drop the .jarvis file. Modules are updated one by one via their tile.
An update cannot break anything: the SmartKnob and all modules boot safely. If an update is interrupted, simply start it again.

SmartKnob

What is new
- Motion wake is reliable again: a towel or curtain in the wind no longer wakes your SmartKnob, your hand does.
- After waking you see the clock again, whatever page the SmartKnob fell asleep on. The menu no longer opens by itself and the screen no longer stays black.
- Brightness: the slider at the top now really means full brightness, even in a shady spot.
- Your modules stay connected while the SmartKnob runs its own hotspot: no more dropping in and out, no more lost button presses.
- Temperature, Settings and Features now open a page instead of doing nothing.
- Tank alert: every beep brings the message back on screen, so you can always silence it. Quiet until it changes now ends only after a real refill.
- Tank statistics: sloshing while you drive no longer counts as usage, and refills are recognised.
- Tank and climate charts: smooth curves instead of steps, and the scale matches the curve you see.
- Presence automations: every matching rule for somebody arriving runs now, not just the first.
- Timberline: new floor heating tab with its own target temperature.
- Module updates continue where they were interrupted, so every module gets its turn.

- Updates: checks wait until you are not using your SmartKnob, so they can no longer make it stutter; progress shows live, large module files work, and you can turn automatic checks off

- Your outputs no longer switch off on their own: electrical interference on the current sensor could trip a channel even though the current was far below the limit. Ampy now double-checks an alarm before it switches anything off, so the real overcurrent protection stays exactly as fast as before.
- After you reset a fuse the channel now stays on. Until now it could switch itself off again right away.
