Find faults instead of hunting for them: the built-in self-diagnosis

Every Camper Jarvis device, from the SmartKnob to the smallest module, has a built-in self-diagnosis. If something goes wrong, you do not have to reproduce the fault or describe it at length. Your dealer, your workshop or our support sees the cause straight away.

What the self-diagnosis detects

• voltage drops and restarts, for example due to a weak battery
• tripped fuses and overload on individual outputs
• excessive temperatures
• faults that a module has fixed by itself and that you would never have noticed

All of this is kept even through a power cut.

How it helps you

• Quick help instead of guesswork: the cause is clear before anyone has to search for long.
• Fewer workshop visits: a lot can be cleared up remotely.
• More safety: a voltage that drops too low or a fuse that keeps tripping does not go unnoticed.

It knows how the device is doing, not what you are doing

The self-diagnosis only knows technical values of the devices. It knows no personal data: no location, no Wi-Fi names, nothing about how or when you use your vehicle.
