Answers around the clock: our knowledge hub is online
Share
It is Sunday evening, your van is half built, and you are wondering which terminal the push button goes to. Nobody answers the phone at this hour. From now on, you no longer have to wait until Monday.
Find answers yourself, whenever you need them
Our knowledge hub now holds almost 70 guides. They cover installation, first setup, widgets, updates and warranty, written so you can follow them step by step right in the van.
Good places to start:
- Switching on the SmartKnob for the first time
- Pairing modules with the SmartKnob
- More push buttons or switches with Lighty Extend
- Installing updates: online or from a file

Which module do you really need?
The new overview Which module does what shows all modules in one table: which one switches power, which one measures, where push buttons go and what handles 230V. Typical cases from the light to the pop-top roof help you find your setup quickly.
You can start small. Take only the modules you need and add more at any time. A new module pairs with the SmartKnob in seconds, with no new cables to the SmartKnob. Only plan ahead where you would otherwise have to rewire later: the LED strips for Lighty and the fuse level with Ampy.
A switch right where you need it, without a new cable
Battery-powered wireless push buttons from Häfele Connect Mesh work with Camper Jarvis. Put one by the bed, at the sliding door, in the bathroom or next to the sink. You pair it in the dashboard in around 20 seconds, no Häfele app needed.
A short press switches, a long press dims. You can also put a button on any device in your system: the water pump at the sink, the inverter from the bed or the fan in the bathroom. All you need is a Lighty with firmware 0.4.7 or later and your SmartKnob. Everything else is in the guide Wireless push buttons without cables.
What a self-builder says
Stefan is building his Citroën Jumper himself and recently connected everything for the first time. Here is some of his feedback, translated from German:
“The tank level display seems to be very accurate! When refilling the fresh water, the Jarvis display matched the water meter very well!”
“Detecting new modules is really fantastically easy.”
“Really cool, works straight away, water pump switched with a matching Berker push button at the sink, so no wet fingers on the SmartKnob.”
Thank you, Stefan, for sharing your experience.
