Lighty Smart Lighting Controller

Lighty is the intelligent 5-channel lighting controller in the Camper Jarvis system. From a single white strip to full RGBWW ambient lighting, one device handles it all: switching, dimming, colour and colour temperature, complete lighting scenes. You operate it from a wall switch, from the dial on the SmartKnob or in the browser dashboard, all equal and in sync, entirely local in the vehicle, with no cloud and no internet required.

Dimming that others cannot do

Most dimmers give up at around 20%. Below that the light either cuts out or flickers. Lighty dims continuously from 0,1 to 100%, true to colour all the way down and smooth to the eye. That is what makes real night lighting possible, the finest evening mood and even a sunrise simulation in which the light rises gently out of the dark over several minutes. The drive stage is completely silent, with no whine even at low brightness, and flicker-free to 240fps, so there is no banding in photos or video.

One controller, any lighting concept

You assign the five independent channels freely: one RGBWW strip with full colour and white control, tunable white from evening to daylight, or up to five separate lights such as kitchen, bathroom, bed left, bed right and outside light, each on its own. Lighty adapts to your installation, not the other way round. Every light appears as its own tile in the dashboard and on the SmartKnob, with its own name, its own brightness and its own scene.

Operation without relearning

A press on the wall switch turns the light on and off, holding dims it smoothly up and down, and a double tap switches every light in the vehicle, a goodnight switch without extra wiring. On the SmartKnob you select the light and turn the dial. In the dashboard every device on the vehicle WiFi becomes a light control, with no app at all. Your lighting scenes are one tap away everywhere.

Protects itself and your system

Lighty comes with an electronic fuse with current measurement, plus over-temperature, over- and under-voltage protection, reverse polarity protection and a surge arrester, all built in and adjustable. Because Lighty measures consumption, a self-learning algorithm shows you in the dashboard what each individual light draws, entirely without additional sensors. And once the supply is disconnected, Lighty remembers brightness and colour and restores your lighting exactly as it was the next time you switch on.

Wired in minutes

Power and light channels connect through high-quality Phoenix lever terminals, almost tool-free, safe and reusable. You assemble the wall switch conveniently on the supplied pluggable spring terminal connector and then simply plug it in.

Good to know: Lighty controls single-colour and multi-colour LED strips through shared colour channels. Addressable pixel strips such as WS2812 are deliberately not supported, because Lighty is not designed for them.

Need more switches? With the Lighty Extend you can connect up to five buttons to one Lighty, one switching point per light, and any number of buttons per light replaces classic two-way wiring.
